2024 Building Code Notice

On August 8, 2025 City Council approved the adoption of the following codes:

  • • 2024 International Residential Code
  • • 2024 International Building Code
  • • 2024 Uniform Plumbing Code
  • • 2024 Uniform Mechanical Code
  • • 2024 Southern Nevada Pool Code
  • • 2023 National Electric Code
  • • 2024 Existing Building Code
  • • 2024 International Energy Conservation Code


Starting January 1st, 2026 all applications submitted for building permits will be required to meet the new code standards.
